Artist Bio
Defying the traditional, Greg Souther's original designs can be elegant and funky at the same time. Souther achieves a sense of "rhythm" with jewelry which showcases his fine metal-smithing and keen sense of geometric composition. Using contrasting materials and textures, he creates intricate patterns within each piece. Recent work by the Minnesota artist also incorporates curvilinear profiles in earrings reminiscent of the organic motifs of the early 20th century's Art Deco style.
