Artist Bio
Through her unique perspective as a designer / choreographer, Tana Acton combines air, movement and light to create pieces that are at once delicate and yet solid. The hallmarks of her designs are: fluid lines, lightweight materials, and affordable prices. Tana's pieces are delightfully versatile - appropriate for both casual and formal wear. Her work is featured in fine craft galleries, museum stores and boutiques throughout the U.S.
The artist was born in Birmingham, Michigan. She attended Parsons School of Design, and went on to earn a B.F.A. from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Tana has worked professionally in dance as well as graphic design. She makes her home and works from her studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
